The Avondale Foundation is a not for profit organisation that operates to support Avondale College, the Seventh-day Adventist Church's Tertiary Institution in Australia. Formed in 1978 by a group of Adventist laymen, headed by Lyn Knight, the Avondale Foundation aimed to assist the South Pacific Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in providing financial support to Avondale College. This dream is still well and truly alive today with many highly qualified and skilled people volunteering their time to ensure that the Avondale Foundation continues to provide financial assistance to the College.
